Q – What if I am not in the Hollywood, Florida area?
A – Premium Precious Metals will receive shipments sent via Federal Express, UPS and Registered Mail.
Q – Will incoming shipments be insured?
A – PPM can provide insurance on incoming packages. Single packages may be insured up to $100,000 with a total of $250,000 per customer per day. This insurance is underwritten by Lloyd’s of London. All you need to do is give us the tracking number at the time the package is shipped. We”ll take care of the rest and subtract the nominal insurance fee (0.15% of the declared value in the case of overnight shipments) from your settlement payment.
Q – How will my metal be analyzed?
A – We will use the most advanced X-ray fluorescence instrumentation to analyze the metal deposits (Gold, Silver, Platinum & Palladium).
Q – What if I am unhappy with the analysis?
A – A vacuum pin sample will be available to the customer. It will be placed in a tamper evident envelope, and may be sent to a recognized assayer. We will abide by the analysis provided by the recognized assayer. This is the essence of transparency for the customer.
Q – How long does it take to be paid?
A – Full settlement and payment are made within 24 hours.
Q – Will Premium Precious Metals accept metals other than gold alloys?
A – Certainly. PPM will accept a broad range of gold, silver, platinum and palladium bearing scrap. Call us with any specific requests.
Q – How do you ship material?
A – PPM has an account with FedEx, enabling us to generate a label of overnight delivery of your material.
Q – What are your hours of operation?
A – PPM is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Q – Can I exchange the pure metal content of my scrap for bullion products?
A – Yes. PPM is a primary distributor for one of the largest gold refineries in the United States. Bullion products will include 1 oz., 10 oz., kilo and 100 oz. gold bars.
Q – Do you have silver bullion products?
A – Yes. These products are available for exchange or sale from one of the largest gold refineries in the United States.
