We offer the most transparent precious metals refining process in the industry.
Each step of the precious metals process is very important, and can be tracked with photographs and emails.
- The first step is accurate weight on your material. Our scales are sealed by the state and calibrated every 90 days by a certified company.
- The second step is to melt the material in the most state of the art solid state induction equipment to ensure minimal melt loss. We recommend melting each karat lot separately. We want to be certain that the ten, fourteen and eighteen karat you purchased is exactly ten, fourteen and eighteen, and not something else so we can achieve maximum homogenization. A pin sample is provided to each customer so they can acquire an independent analysis if desired.
- The third step is sampling. Sampling and assaying are the most important parts of the precious metal process. We take great pride in making sure that your material is homogenously mixed prior to the extraction of a molten core sample. We pour your bar immediately after the sample is taken to ensure a minimal melt loss and a correct assay of the material.
- The fourth step is the assay process. PPM uses the most state of the art XRF technology. Within a few minutes, we can obtain an analysis of your material showing gold, silver, platinum and palladium content.
The four steps outlined are what we consider the optimal way to process your precious metal scrap, guaranteeing the best and most accurate bottom line anywhere in the industry. That’s why our motto is never settle for less
